As I write this, I am sitting at work. Sadly enough, I do not have access to the internet where I work, so I had to copy and paste this into the blog later.
I haven’t posted anything lately, for that I am sorry. But my life has been going pretty well, actually. Here’s what’s been going on:
I finally got a car. It’s a Pontiac Grand Prix GT. It’s fully loaded. Here’s what it can do. It has a 3.8VL engine, one of the top ten best engines ever made according to GM Magazine. It has a sunroof, CD player, MP3 player adapter, radio, volume and CD controls on the steering wheel, 6 channel stereo surround sound, automatic lights, power door/windows, romantic light setting, front wheel drive, cruise control, OnStar, and a lot of other cool stuff. It’s teal, and has a great interior. The total was $7,499.00 without tax, title, and licensing. The year: 2005. Mileage: 72,000.
I’ve never taken the car to school. I still ride the bus. Parking on campus I hear is a joke. So, I don’t drive to school. I have driven to work lately, but when the winter storms come, I’ll probably take the bus. I don’t want to get in a wreck so early in my man to car relationship.
Having a car is really nice. I am excited about these low gas prices; I want to take advantage of them while they last. I drive myself to get groceries now, which is nice. It’s so cool.
Other stuff: I wasn’t cast in that Internet TV series that I told a lot of you about, which is okay. It took them so long to tell me that I wasn’t cast that I had almost completely forgotten about it. This is good, because I wasn’t sad for not making it. I did, however, audition for another movie yesterday, and I was called back for another audition for this coming Saturday. It’s a movie called, “Spit”. I guess Spit is a card game. The movie is about these Spit fanatics who are at the end of the year tournament. I am audition for the character Ben, who loves the card game more than his wife, basically. It’s a romantic comedy.
About the APX Alarm Technician thing: Since that first interview, I was under the impression that I would be a technician and install security systems this summer and make quite the money. Right now, I haven’t heard from the recruiter. Installing systems this summer was one reason why I got the car. It’s all up in the air right now, so I don’t know what I am going to do.
This Thursday, Maclain Nelson, the creator of the long term improv group, “Thrillionaires” and the new LDS Motion Picture “DragonHunter”, came to our Improvisation class and taught us some stuff. He also said that they would be doing auditions and he wanted to see me audition there. Also, one of my friends is creating a play or movie this summer and she wants me to be in it. Also, I am in the process of maybe getting an agent to further my entertainment career and a ton of jobs are opening and casting for summer movies. So, I really don’t know if I am going to be a technician, be a part of some movies, be a waiter…I don’t know yet. But, everything will work out, because I know that God is the one who is really in charge. I get to make my own decisions, but I think he guides me in the right way.
