Movies

The other day, I was randomly selected to do an online survey for Yahoo! Movies. Most of the questions seemed to be targeted on why I choose to go to Yahoo! Movies for all of my entertainment needs. I like that website because it has everything I need to know about movies, especially the trailers.

I like trailers.

I just watched the trailer for a new film called, "The Reader" starring Kate Winslet and Ralph Fiennes. It looks quite breathtaking and spectacular. It made me wonder how much one film can impact one life. Or a hundred lives. Or more.

This is why I love film. I am trying hard to get into the film program at the prestigious Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. I haven't really started on the application, other than the fact that I am taking the prerequisite classes right now. I am loving every second. One thing that I don't like is that I talk too much during my film lab, when I should probably give others opportunities to share their opinion. It's just that the TA will ask a question, and I know the answer, so I'll say it, but I can tell he wants me to shut up and let other people answer the questions.

My newest project that I made with my friends is "Hansel and Gretal". It's the classic fairy tell story with an interesting twist. I'm sure you'll all enjoy. Once that movie has been scored and edited all together, I will post the link on this blog.
Currently, my friends and I are creating a mocumentary entitled, "X-TRINA to the X-TREME". It's about a Russian-like teen singing sensation that took the world by storm. It's actually quite funny and very low budget.

So, there are some reasons why I like film and what I am doing with my life right now.
