On the 23rd of this month, Thursday, I will be getting into my car to travel about 2,000 miles to the city of Toronto, in Ontario Canada. I will be installing home security systems with APX Alarm. It's going to be a grueling summer; working hard every day. I have never had a job similar to this one ever in my life. I have always worked at restaurants and call centers. So now, I am going to be doing something with my hands. Sort of like a construction job...almost. I am excited to start a new summer in a new town. I want this summer to be a summer of transformation. A summer of change; to begin anew.
To help me out with this, I have decided to start an intense workout and exercise program. It's called P90X. I don't know if you have heard about it. I already have the DVD's and I watched one of them, just to see how intense it really is. And...wow. Um...I am actually kind of nervous to start. Its going to be very grueling. I mean, there were extremely fit people on the screen, sweating buckets! I did a lot of research about this before I decided to get it. All the info on the web and other places basically said, "If you are not dedicated to this program and ready to work your butt off, than don't waste your time. This program works. It's just not for the faint of heart." So...in a nutshell: they tear you apart. No pain, no gain. So, hopefully this summer I will have enough time to do this workout program and get healthy. After taking a personal fitness class at BYU, my perceptive has changed about exercise and being "ripped". While being attractive and fit is a great upside to exercise, the best thing is that you are being healthy. You are treating your body the way God wants you to treat it. 70% of healthcare costs are avoidable, and I intend to avoid all of them. :)
I still have not heard from the film program yet. I will know the day finals end, which is the 22nd. People seem to like our TMA 112 project.
Once I hear from them, I will definitely let you all know. I am sure you will be receiving a call from me.
So, like mentioned before, this summer will be a summer of change. Not only physically, but hopefully spiritually and monetarily as well. I already know where the LDS church is. It's about 14 minutes away from my apartment. I am excited. I will have no cell phone service there, so it will probably be like the mission again; this time with internet access all day.
So, there you have it: A New Frontier has opened before me and I intend to do my very best in all my endeavors this summer.
